Off White Sweatshirts from New Look

Cropped, off-white and deep grey logo - how I sum this New Look top up.

When I came across this online, it captured my attention immediately because of its simple, chic slogan and its cropped length (I was looking for something to go with high-waisted trousers). Reviewers said the logo was not black (very true) and one even said this sweatshirt looked cheap. I see what they mean, but nevertheless I am keeping this because: firstly, it is 100% cotton and DOES NOT SHED; secondly, the slogan is something I don’t own (Connecticut is uber cool - FYI I know someone from there); and thirdly, the cropped length is what I need.

Don’t expect a black slogan is what I’m also saying. Go for the New Look top below if you prefer something that looks higher-quality AND you DON’T MIND SHEDDING.

White Sweatshirt from H&M

I wanted a pristine white and black sweatshirt go with leggings aka ski style (though I cannot ski regrettably - it was on my bucket list).

This H&M top looked like a dream! Luckily I tried it instore, because sadly, though it is ‘oversized’, it hardly covers my bum…Also, luckily there was also a Large size, which I got in the end, because it just covered my bum (well, part of it). I don’t know if it will shrink much after washing and am crossing my fingers.

One other drawback is it SHEDS LIKE MAD. I think that is why it is £10. It keeps getting sold out but someone returns it, so do look out for your size and SIZE UP!

New Look Black Knit Jumper (with White in!)

I had to include this! When I walked into the New Look store at the start of the festive season, I fell in love with this New Look black and white jumper, and had been kicking myself ever since as I did not purchase it right away. Just remember it is wide rather than long. After trying M and L, I stuck to my true size as a size bigger means that the white bit sits on the hips, making them look larger. The wideness of this jumper means you can easily layer a turtleneck underneath during these cold days!
