Mink vs Grey - what suits me better?

There are many shades of grey (maybe more than 50 shades! Heh...).
Only very warm complexions can carry off a yellow-based grey. As a Kettlewell Paintbox Spring, I tend to gravitate towards cool bright grey (like the cape from River Island above) or a very deep warm grey (like the ASOS dress also in the picture above). What is your favourite shade of grey?
I am not keen on wearing grey by my face as I don’t have grey in my olive complexion. See how the combo below drains my colour away? So I have worn a cream coat over it (see picture at the bottom of the page). However, I may stick to my black coat in the end, as black is flattering for me. If you have to wear grey next your face, make sure you wear lively-coloured makeup, especially lipstick, and/or a coat colour that flatters your skin undertone!
New Look Pale Grey Denim Split Hem Midaxi Skirt £32.99. Though I am 5 ft 3, the skirt skims the lower part of my calves and is very flattering. It is not a pale grey as said in the description!
River Island Grey Graphic Print T-shirt (a warmer grey than the skirt) was reduced from £7 from £22 and is sadly SOLD OUT.
New Look JDY Cream Hooded Puffer Jacket £22.50 (reduced from £45).
The verdict is still out as to whether this JDY cream coat flatters my face, but it definitely brightens this all-grey combo, which can be draining on skin undertones that do not contain grey.

MINK
I was convinced that mink is a warm colour, from the selection I saw at New Look (other high street shops don’t seem to have many mink-coloured items, or they call it some other colour - see River Island item below).
But online, mink is described as a cool neutral. That said, I highly recommend mink for those who have honey blonde hair and warmer skin undertones. If you see the picture below you will know what I mean. I adore this River Island cami top and am keeping it, though I am sure it flatters fairer Spring complexions better!
