Styling the Suede Jacket Part 1 - Spring Season

I was unsure about suede and I still am.

Firstly, let me state I will never be able to afford real suede. And thrifting through shops in the UK is not an available option, at least not where I live. (Yes, I am not in London.)

The dark beige of this H&M faux suede jacket is a challenge. I prefer it to the dark chocolate type of suede, as dark beige is a mixture of brown and peach, which gives it less of a sense of heaviness, which as Spring Seasonal Types know, is a fashion kind of death.

Lime green was a big colour in 2024, and if you are a Spring Seasonal Type, and already have a top in this colour, definitely bring it out and wear it under a suede jacket!

In fact, accessorise boldly - either in lime green, a bright orange (which is what I did), or a turquoise blue - to contrast with the suede.
